Hello!
I can't believe it is Monday already!
I have been up since 4am and today was the first "official" day of Kaia! I am so excited to see where these next 5 weeks take me.
This weekend was a mix of fun, busy and low key which was just what is needed.
Friday, I sent the LAST claims to the LAST client! This means our deadline is over and work can finally calm down! To celebrate, Jenny suggested a trip to the casino and I couldn't pass that up. Both boys were at work so this was perfect. I love the casino. I would play all the games even if it were free. This trip I did not win, but my girl Jenny did and its always fun!
Saturday I got to sleep in at last! This was especially nice since we didn't get home until 2:30 Friday night. Then I spent some time laying on the couch, watching He's Just Not That Into You, planning all my meals and shopping list for the week and of course, getting some yummy coffee. Oh yea, G made me an awesome breakfast too!
Saturday afternoon was busy running errands and searching high and low for a personal blender that I have been eyeing. Target, Walmart and Bed, Bath & Beyond were out. Guess where I finally found it? Best Buy! That's right, the go to electronics store had my awesome blue (still wish I could get the pink) personal blender.

Sunday was perfect. I woke up early, got G and I coffee and then just relaxed on the couch until G got up (at least 3 hours later that is). Then we got ready, stopped by his mom's house, got lunch at Boudin and then looked at model homes. Neither of us are ready to buy a place, but ever since we started dating, we have loved looking at model homes. We probably went to 4 or 5 different home builders and found some houses we loved and found some we definitely did not love. At one house, you could see the casino out the bathroom window and I knew I could never live there, just a little to tempting haha. Just kidding, well maybe. After, we stopped by one of our favorite restaurants, Crepeville, and got some desserts.

I wish I still had one more day off, but then again, I am one more day closer to being in Texas!
Have a great week friends!

I need to look into one of those blenders, looks really convenient!
We used to love looking at model homes, even when we weren't ready to buy. Actually, it was more fun then, because we could go to the really huge homes, we could never afford, and just be in awe, without feeling like we were wasting our time.
I've never seen the personal blender contraption, that is AMAZING!
Looks like a fabulous weekend! I love to look at model homes but have yet to drag Steven through them, I feel a house hunting trip coming on soon!
You LOVE those crepe places!!
That crepe looks AMAZING!! And I want to know how you like that blender! I'm thinking about getting one!
That Nutella crepe, oh my goodness! And I can't believe you had to review that entire stack of papers, that's cray cray! Glad you had a great weekend!
